The long-awaited BSA Scrambler Single is finally heading to UK and EU markets—its public debut originally made at the 2024 Motorcycle Live Show in Birmingham, with full sales launching in 2025. Now, after months of anticipation, this retro-modern scrambler is available through dealers—with a competitive price tag of £5,999 plus OTR fees.

Built on the back of the Gold Star 650 platform, the Scrambler blends classic British aesthetics with rugged practicality. It’s more than just a looker—it’s a functioning modern classic ready for everyday adventure.
Design That Honors Heritage, Performs Today
Inspired by the Bike Shed debut showpiece, the BSA Scrambler retains the key styling elements that fans loved at Motorcycle Live—19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked alloy wheels, high-mounted front fender, and a minimal tail section complete with a raised number board.

Tough tires (Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR), fork gaiters, and a brushed-number plate give it an authentic scrambler look. Meanwhile, the use of Brembo brakes, LED lighting, and dual-channel ABS signal that this is a thoroughly modern machine.
Under the Skin: Strong Performance, Everyday Friendly
Powering the Scrambler is a 652cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine borrowed from the Gold Star, producing 45 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm—the perfect balance for A2 licence riders in the EU. Output matches Royal Enfield’s Bear 650 but in a more refined euro-spec package.

The chassis is clean and rugged: a tubular steel frame, 41mm telescopic forks, twin shocks with adjustable preload, and Brembo braking setup. It tips the scales at a claimed 218 kg, with a seat height of 820 mm—comfortable, accessible, and real-world ready.
